www.dccam.com.au/painSTAR

Are you a clinical, early- or mid-career pain researcher who is looking to expand your network, speed up research translation and influence systems? If so, then painSTAR - the Pain School for Research and Translation - is the event for you!

Returning to the beautiful Novotel Barossa Valley from the 15 - 19 November, painSTAR 2026 will once again offer a 3.5 day intensive program jam packed with lectures, workshops, pain labs, Q&A sessions and LOTS of fun.

Consumer representatives, Amy Reynolds and Peter Rudland, will help keep the program centred in the voice of those with a lived experience of pain. The core faculty – Anne Burke, Rainer Haberberger, Wendy Imlach, Ernie Jennings, Trudy Maunsell and Tasha Stanton – are back for another round and they welcome Andrew Watson to the team!

Fiona Blyth returns as the 2026 IASP representative, and we’re thrilled to welcome Kevin Keay (University of Sydney) as our inspiring national keynote speaker. We look forward to welcoming a range of other local and national speakers to round out a bumper program.

Applications for painSTAR 2026 are open from 7 April -  25 May, we encourage your involvement - further information can be found here: www.dccam.com.au/painstar
