Emma Hewat

Pain Physiotherapist and Service Lead, Pain Management Service, Motus Health, Christchurch, NZ
Emma Hewat is a pain physiotherapist and service lead for the pain management service at Motus Health, where she has worked for the past 10 years.

Early in her career, Emma worked in older adult health, delivering community-based falls prevention programmes and leading group exercise classes for older adults. She then took an interest in chronic pain management, and has grown her career in that direction. Emma brings her experience in both of these branches of physiotherapy to the workshop.

Emma is passionate about seeing older people achieve their health goals, and supporting them to build their confidence in doing so.
