Emma Clark

Occupational Therapist, Health NZ - Canterbury, NZ
Kia ora koutou! I’m an occupational therapist/kaiwhakaora ngangahau working in older persons’ mental health, and I absolutely love it. My whole career has been about helping people take the driver’s seat in managing long‑term conditions, and I was lucky enough to spend several years in a tertiary pain service learning from some incredible clinicians and even more incredible patients.

Somewhere along the way, I realised my heart truly sits with our kaumātua. Supporting older adults to stay connected to what matters most to them is what lights me up. Empowering people to keep doing the things that give their life meaning, especially in later years, is not just my job, it’s my passion!
