Deb Thompson is co-chair of the Lived Experience Advisory Panel. She lives with persistent pain and Fibromyalgia. Deb has 32 years teaching experience & a Masters of Education. She has contributed to local & Australian research as a co-designer. In 2021 Deb was the consumer representative on the EAG for the Ministry of Health’s redesign of NZ pain services, Mamaenga Roa.
Deb graduated in 2023 as a Certified Fibromyalgia Coach and coaches people with Fibromyalgia to live full & wonderful lives. From 2026 Deb will also be working as a trained peer support worker for the Our Recovery programme. |
