Using her background in clinical practice and business development, Deeanna Piermarini manages a portfolio of assessment and rehabilitation services at ACC. As a Portfolio Manager, she leads a team that looks after a series of New Zealand-wide ACC health contracts, commissioning assessment and rehabilitation services for injured Kiwis. Some of these services include Concussion Services, Pain Management, Vocational Rehabilitation programmes, Training for Independence, Occupational and Vocational Medical Assessments and Impairment Assessments.
 
Deeanna earned her MBA from Waikato University and has enjoyed a 23-year career in the health industry in both the private and public sectors. Originally a physiotherapist, she has experience in relationship management, rehabilitation service design and optimisation and ensuring people have access to high quality and equitable healthcare.
